I just bought a new lens: a Samyang 8mm f3.5

First i wanted to buy a Sigma 10-20 lens, but it was too expensive for me. The Samyang was just about 200€, a used Sigma 10-20 is still 300+ :/

Its going to be so much fun and I'm really looking forward to try out a new way of photography (at least for me it is new ^^)

After 1 year of researching, waiting and saving money, I was able to convert my Nikon D70s.
I did the conversion on my own, using an EdmunOptices 670nm IR filter.

Total costs:
Nikon D70s: 200€
Edmund Optics IR-filter: 8€

Still need to check out the auto-focus and everything else, but the camera works and gives me the IR-effect with minimal exposure time as expected and I can use the viewfinder

I finally found a Nikon D70s in a very mint condition: just 5000 shots done yet...

The D70s cost like 220€ with all the accessory that came with it (except the kit-lens), another nikon accu, the nikon remote control and 2x 2GB CF-card.
What do you say, too expensive?

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Ehm, to say it straight, i m going to Helsinki/Finland for 2 weeks at the end of march.
I wanted to ask if any1 knows some good spots there, or any other cool things to do

I need tips, cause i ve never been somewhere just for photography purposes
